The history of the "Maya Metal Art" store begins at a special moment - after the birth of our daughter Maja. Her birth completely changed our lives. It was then that we wanted to somehow preserve all the details of these unforgettable days forever. Photographs and films were no longer enough, we wanted to be able to capture these magical moments in some other way. We were still missing something that would provide a real reference in the future to how tiny and sweet Maja was back then. My husband, who works as an engineer and scientist in the field of electrolysis, came up with the idea of making a metal impression of our daughter's foot. After many attempts, we managed to create a perfect cast of Maja's hand, which reflected every detail of her anatomy with extraordinary accuracy: from the folds of the skin, the outline of her nails, to the arrangement of her fingers. Most importantly, this cast was the actual size of her tiny hand - exactly the dimensions it had when the sculpture was made. We gained a permanent reference to the facts of that moment, which allowed us to always remember how tiny she really was. Encouraged by the previous success, we also made Maja's footprint - it was wonderful. This story and our innovative idea began to spread at the speed of light among family, friends and their acquaintances. Then someone asked us if we could make a similar souvenir with his dog Max's paw. Of course, this also worked. We captured every detail of Max's paw, including fur, claws and paw pads. This is how the "Maya Metal Art" store was created. Thanks to the speed of making the mold and the use of safe, non-toxic mass, we can passionately and easily create casts of children's hands and feet and the paws of various pets. Over time, we expanded our offer to include a variety of products, wanting to combine our love for family with art. Our store has become a place where everyone can find a unique souvenir that not only stores and brings back memories, but also serves as a beautiful home decoration or jewelry.
